“As a new George Washington University graduate, I felt STJ could not have prepared me any better for college. Going to a completely different city and university that constantly challenged me to do more, it often felt overwhelming. However, STJ helped in some of the most essential ways. One thing that I was adequately prepared academically for was my classes. At STJ, I also learned how to manage my time and contribute meaningfully to my work and electives through doing forensics, cross country, student ambassador, and tennis in high school. I attribute much of my success and all I’ve been able to do through my amazing teachers, faculty, and coaches who never doubted me yet always pushed me to be better. I am excited to now serve as a Policy Coordinator for the National Association of Manufacturers in Washington. Without the high expectations of STJ and all of its wonderful experiences, I would not be where I am today.”
