Elementary Counseling
The elementary counseling program’s foundation begins with whole class guidance activities incorporating bibliotherapy, puppets, role plays, interactive games and class discussions. These guidance lessons cover topics ranging from study skills to self confidence, and character building lessons. The elementary counselor also assists students and their families with academic performance, family transitions, and coping skills. The development of content, well adjusted students is the goal of the counseling program.
